New Star Wars-Themed Experiences This Summer – There’s a lot of fun in store for Star Wars fans this summer at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Shawn Slater, Sr. Creative Entertainment manager and blog author, shared details and more during this episode.
The upcoming Disney-Pixar film, “The Good Dinosaur,” which opens in theaters on November 25, 2015, will take audiences on an epic journey into the world of dinosaurs, and you can get an advance sneak peek of this exciting adventure at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, as part of the One Man’s Dream attraction on Mickey Avenue, and at Disneyland Resort in California, at Disney California Adventure in the “It’s Tough to be a Bug!” Theater, complete with special in-theater effects.
“The Good Dinosaur” preview will run through December 4, 2015 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The regular One Man’s Dream finale film will return on December 5, 2015 – just in time for Walt Disney’s birthday. And, in California, the sneak peek will run through December 13, 2015 at Disney California Adventure Park. “It’s Tough to be a Bug” is expected to reopen once the preview is done.

Here’s a Throwback Thursday back to 1993. With the popularity of the Disney-Pixar film, “Inside Out,” I was inspired to share this photo.
That’s me in the Wonders of Life pavilion at Epcot in Walt Disney World next to a sign for the Cranium Command attraction. That sign depicts General Knowledge, who is looking to commandeer someone into piloting the brain of a small child.

Did you know that “Inside Out” now holds the record as the biggest opening for an original movie in history, topping the previous No. 1 original movie, “Avatar,” by more than $13 million, with $90,440,272 million in domestic box office opening weekend. The film opened Friday, June 19, 2015.
‘Paint the Night’ is one of three new nighttime spectaculars which will immerse guests in the worlds of Disney stories like never before to help celebrate Disneyland’s 60 years of magic! The Diamond Celebration at the Disneyland Resort begins Friday, May 22, 2015.
